Decorating with Beads?!

Wooden Beaded Garland Farmhouse Rosary Beads.....Yes, that title is a mouthful, isn’t it?!

When I was researching on how and why these beads became trendy in home decorating, I saw many names. Farmhouse Beaded Garland, Rosary Beads, Farmhouse Prayer Beads and more. Joanna Gaines was probably the first to use these on her (and her husband - Chip) famous show, Fixer Upper. Thus, a trend was born. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where the trend came from but I think we can all agree that Joanna revolutionized the way we decorate our homes. How does one person do that? I digress...

The bottom line is, no matter what you want to call them, the beads are so pretty and automatically add a rustic charm to a space. They come in all colors and sizes. Some are wooden, some are clay and some are glass. Sometimes you'll see them with a tassel at the end, or even a cross. For the holidays, I’m even seeing some with a cute Santa or pumpkin on them.

Here at MNC Candle Co., our decorating beads are wooden with a twine tassel and form a big loop. They look great around a candle set atop one of our Carved Wood Cake Stands (as shown in the picture below).
